This board here contains all you need to know about HIT THE LIGHTS. Rules, plot, everything is within this board, so read it, because if you don't, we'll know. It also contains the key word to get your application passed, so read carefully. Have fun.

This is the IN CHARACTER bulletin board; we'll post our Hogwarts events in here, so you know what's going on. We'll post exam dates, end of year sign ups, everything you need to know for your character's well being, and academicy; all that stuff. It doesn't sound interesting, but you seriously need to look at this. It'll keep you up to date.

Here is where all of the latest OOC information will be posted, such as activity checks, staff notices, et cetera. You'll want to check in here regularly, because these things are rather important.

This board is just for us admins, so we can talk about all of you. Yeah, seriously.

this is where you first post your application once you have joined HIT THE LIGHTS. You'll find the form inside, for both adults and students. There are instructions for how you should post it, and everything; we've got you covered. You should check out our site listings, though, in the Site Statistics board. It'll let you know what we're in need of.

Here's where all of the deleted characters will go, so isntead of being shoved into the archives board, it'll be here so you can go back to these boards and get anything you need. We know some people still like to plot with their dead charries.. not that it makes sense. <3 Here each deceased character gets it's own subboard so it doesn't get confusing.

In this board, we've created space for your sub-plotting needs, graphics, and thread trackers. Anything you need for your character's life is here. Need a guy to make your girl pregnant? Post it in this board. It's all here.

You know those pages with the billion colourful lines and the form every one hates filling out? Yeah, those go in here.

If you're in need of some company, send out a letter with your owl, and find some one as lonely as you are so you can write back and forth about your day. Of course, we gaurantee, even with some one you don't know.. there's drama.

Do we honestly need to explain it? We'll post gossip here when the juciest stuff comes up; it's your own pleasure.

The headmaster's tower, astronomy tower, and several others are located here. Students stop by if they're needing alone time, or want to watch the stars. It's not a popular place to hang out; most people would rather be at hogsmeade.

this is where the blessed children of hogwarts come to learn. From anything to astronomy, to potions; it's here. remember to go to your own class; don't want a detention, do you? and if you get house points deducted, you're sure to get a duffing.

Clean, peaceful and safe, this is where you are taken if you fall ill, or become injured. The nurses tend to be silent, and quick, but the potions are nasty.

To enter this room, you'll need to pass it three times, thinking about what you need, as long as it is of good ( i.e. not murderous ) intent. Many have tried to shut this room off, but Hogwarts has other plans, eh?

Not a largely populated place. It's dark and wet, and filled with ghosts. Even slytherins get scared down here ( heh heh ) mazes of corridoors - you could get lost!

These are the places where students can go if they're in need of some relaxation. Each house has their own common room, where they can go to be with friends from their own houses. Usually, its a nice place to go if you need some quiet study time, but on occasion, things could get a littly crazy with students celebrating victories in Quidditch or the end of final exams.

The library is filled with hundreds of thousands of books - the rows and isles can go forever and ever. Most students don't try to find the back of the library. This is good place to study - it's relatively quiet, and has plenty of tables and isles to study in.

this is the main lounge, where students can come together and chat without too much rivalry. occasionally fights break out here, but not often. there is a small kitchen and a few rooms attached to this main room, with a large fireplace, and plenty of arm chairs. this is a very popular place among students.

the quidditch field is located on the opposite side of the castle from the forest. the pitch is rarely ever empty, as it is always either filled with excited spectators or occupied by dedicated players. if there is anything the students love more than the pitch, it is the broom closet.

Exactly like it's name, this lake extends beyond eyesight. It's ominous appearance is usually a warning; there are many creatures living beneath the surface, but as long as you swim close to the shore.. you shouldn't get eaten. Just be careful.

the sloping lawns that lead down toward the forest and border the lake are vast and green, making a perfect spot for a picnic or fanged-frisbee toss.

it's quite a romantic spot. just don't step on the flowers. they're charmed to bite you if you do.

Because of all the dangerous creatures that lurk within this area, the Forbidden Forest is usually off limits to students. For those who don't take rules into consideration, you may happen upon Thestrals, Centaurs, or maybe even a Unicorn. Just don't get caught wandering in too far. you might get eaten.

there are at least three greenhouses on the hogwarts grounds, open to both students and staff who are herbology-inclined. watch out for the mandrakes. they're whiny little things.

This village is the only all wizarding village in england. Very popular, and always bustling! Shops and pubs line the streets. There are sweetshops, and of course madame pudifoots!

Diagon Alley is always busy - -people rushing about to get things done, the daily prophet being sold on every corner. Also a very popular place in the wizarding world.

A dark and ominous sort of place. Only wizards of the Dark Arts usually come here, and even they rush through. This is not the place any innocent person would want to be. Shady and horrible things happen here. Be careful.
